Join the National Women's History Museum and Honorary Co-Chairs, Senator Kelly Ayotte and Representative Doris Matsui, for the 2015 Women Making History Honors gala. The event will take place on May 11, 2015 at Arena Stage (The Mead Center for American Theater) in Washington, D.C. The event recognizes a select group of women who have made a significant contribution to their field and serve as inspiration to women everywhere.

The esteemed 2015 honorees are:

  • Dr. France Cordova | Director, National Science Foundation
  • Chief Cathy Lanier | Chief of Police, Washington, D.C.
  • Dr. Ellen Ochoa | Director, Johnson Space Center

The Women Making History Honors is an elegant event held the Monday after Mother's Day. The VIP ticket holders and Sponsors will enjoy a private buffet dinner reception from 5:30pm to 7pm. There will be a general reception from 6:00 to 7pm that features an open wine bar, light snacks, a photobooth, and a mini exhibit.  A silent auction will be held at the VIP reception and will open up to the general reception at 6:30pm.
