The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority has organized a march to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 1913 Women's Suffrage Parade in Washington, DC.
The National Women's History Museum invites YOU to participate in this historic event that was the turning point in the Suffrage Movement. On Sunday March 3, 2013, the parade route will begin at the Capitol, proceed down Pennsylvania Avenue and assemble on the National Mall for closing remarks. The entire parade route is approx. 3.1 miles and will begin at 9:00 a.m. EST.
NWHM members will meet on the west side of the Capitol adjacent to Pennsylvania Avenue at 8:30am.
